- README.MUL 2/1/93
-
- This README file is in DOS text format and is 3 pages long.
-
- The Multinational database tracks international students
- attending colleges and universities. The database follows the
- information found on the I-20 forms and will generate all the
- statistics necessary for the Open Door Data form. Custom reports
- have been made to print a student listing based on different
- search criteria. Some of the reports include totals of all
- males/females, students on the Honor roll and students whose
- passports expire in 90 days.
-
- For information on deleting the sample data in MULTINTL, see the
- file titled README.APP.
-
- You may copy and modify this database for your own or your
- company's use. You may not copy the database and resell it.
- Please be aware that while WordPerfect Corporation provides
- support on DataPerfect questions, only limited support is
- available for the predefined databases. Not support is available
- for the databases if they have been modified.
-
- Menus
- Multinational was created with built-in menus to make navigating
- easier. The menus lets you enter a desired panel or run a
- specific report. The first menu lets you enter specific panels
- and enter data. A submenu will let you select a pre-defined
- report from a list.
-
- Panels
- Multinational has 13 panels. Most of your work will be done in
- the Student Information panel, accessed from menu option 1.
-
- As you tab through each field in a panel, a help message at the
- top of the screen explains what to do while in that field. Press
- Help (F3) twice for further information about the field.

- panel. The student's ID#, which is included in every record

- citizenship information, as well as other helpful
- information that may need to be tracked.
-
- GRADUATION INFORMATION
- The graduation information panel stores each student's

- this panel through menu option 8 or through the Graduation
- Information link found in the Student Information panel.
-
- SOURCES OF SUPPORT
